The memory of it's spread still leaves my mouth half open! Located in the Royal Dining hall of the Burj Al Arab, near the Lobby Fountain, is Al Iwan a wonderfully decored restaurant that speakes volumes of the thoughts, imagination and craftsmanship that went into the construction of the most luxurious hotel in the world! An entire hall was dedicated to the dinner buffet spread that costs AED 395 per person. There was Arabic, Indian, Seafood, and a host of other cuisines incorporated into the spread, each one better than the other. What awed me the most was the seafood section, with lobsters, crabs, shell fish, sushis and more arranged on a bed of ice. And then the desserts section makes you realize that your every dirham is justified! Tip- dress well when you go here. You need to be fair to the elegance of this restaurant.
