Came here for dinner over the weekend as my dinner date had a friend in town and we wanted to dine somewhere where we had good views of the fountain. Im a big fan of Baker & Spice as it is so im always impressed with their food - went for their Gnocci which was divine and has never disappointed me But i am going to rave about this place for the ambiance, the service and the views! Ticks all my boxes - my favorite branch in Dubai!

If my sister is in town I always make sure to bring her cakes from Baker & Spice. I'm not a fan before but when I tried the chocolate cake it's awesome! now even if my sister not here I alway pass buy to grab one.

This place on a non windy, non smoldering day has great views of the fountain and the burj too but that's not why you should go there. Go for the amazing salads supposedly made from locally sourced ingredients. Very tasty, very healthy comparatively and decently priced. You can get full here for under 70aed easy anyday and not feel too fat about it. I like anything they do with pumpkin and any smoothie.

Second best breakfast on a Friday afternoon. Friday is also the day for organic fruit and vegetable market that takes place on the patio in front of cafe. This is where i get my week supply of fresh veggies, berries and eggs. Everything is locally grown, super fresh and actually well priced. Great way to support UAE farmers and regional green initiatives, not to mention to stay healthier. Same market moves to Garden Center (i know!) on Saturdays and i hear there is one in Marina as well.
