  1. Not sure what to think. A few people here said it was great, but my experience was pretty bad. My buddy had a soft shell crab roll that smelled like the fish market at high noon in August. A couple of the other things were between ok and good. If the prices weren't so high I would consider going back, but plenty of better options at that price

  2. first time i went here it was bad, second time i went here it was pretty good, i just had lunch here for my third time and it was disgusting. i had the spider roll and it almost made me puke. not to mention the fact i had to rush to the bathroom right after. this is definitely the last time i will try this place. i really wanted to like this place to, so close to my work...oh well.

  4. The Honyaki setting is just plush. Kimono ladies recommended the bento box lunch deal (AED 250). Big portions enuf for 2. Sevice takes 10-15 mins max.I had the miso seaweed soup & the bento box had 6 temari sushi, 6 makis & a salad...and yes tempura. The prawn tempura (AED 45/2 pcs) was so crunchy good.To end the meal make sure you'll have the mochi ice cream that melts in your mouth. Including my refillable green tea and a cappuccino, my bill came to about AED 360.

  5. Definitely an improvement from my first visit. The food quality is much better and the staff were super attentive, but that could have been because they were pretty empty at lunch. I say if they lowered their prices or had better lunch specials they would be packed. Dynamite roll was excellent - edemame beans were a bit chewy.

  6. had lunch here and the food was pretty good, a bit expensive though. Sushi was fresh and the portions were good, roll wise. Its located in the Madinat Souk next to Jam Base...that place is confusing. Definitely will come back for lunch and maybe dinner, they do sell booze so thats good.

  7. Had lunch here and wasn't impressed. The restaurant wasn't even busy and the sushi took ages. I think they have some kinks to smooth out which is normal for a new restaurant. I would give them a try in a month. Oh, and if you don't want to smell like fried food after, sit outside.

  8. just ate lunch here today and it was ok...the sushi was just ok, actually it was not that good. there are definitely better place to eat sushi for lunch at  that price. table for 2 (5 rolls, 2 soups, and edamame) was around 350AED. i liked everything else, decor and ambiance, service was a bit slow. maybe i will give them the benefit of just opening so their sushi and service was off their normal game.
