  1. What can I say about Barasti that hasn't already been said? Well, its popular that's for sure - on any given night it is packed. They have great DJs, a fun vibe and it's a fab location, with loungers and beds on the sand. Saying that, the drinks prices are high (40aed for a single eek!), the food prices even higher (on a par with fine dining restaurants) and the crowd can sometimes be a bit rough. However, you're almost always guaranteed a good night if you're after a big loud and lairy evening.

  2. The weather cooled down, which typically means this place picks up. I asked the bouncer how many people he thought was there. He said, 2000. Even so, it didn't feel crowded except for at the bar.

  4. I was here last night and even though it was slow the guy playing guitar was great,so that's why I gave it 4stars. Also you can't beat 50% of drinks ( not all drinks), burger was solid to.

  6. Only reminder is not to go here if its full or else you need to stand up or wait in line. Always make a reservation even if you're only couple. But for the longest time I've been here, can they please use that pool already. Like a pool party?

  8. In case you needed a good reason to drink on a Monday, all drinks are 50% off from 5:00 p.m. to closing, and all ladies get a free drink upon entry. They've brought in live music for Mondays too, so I expect it get more and more crowded as the Mondays go on...

  9. Aliyah said that age is just a number and I believe is that age is as old as you feel. I feel no qualms enjoying being near the younger crowd at the Barasti Bar during the summer holidays in Dubai. I get to know what the vibe is all about among the younger generation, this way. Helps me in my college lectures.<br>
