I have been to McGettigan’s many times, it is an Irish family run and owned Irish Bar in Dubai. It is a very friendly venue with the atmosphere and quality that defines an Irish bar. The decor is quaint with part log cabin and part library. It is a great place to chill out and have a meal and a few drinks. Later in the night there is loud dance music and you can dance the night away on the dance floor, or just relax and sit back and watch people, enjoying the atmosphere. They also have regular live entertainment and pub quizzes. This venue is always alive and buzzing with people. The food is delicious and hearty with portions that are generous and filling. I recommend the fish and chips with mushy peas and the home made burger, the food is of excellent quality and reasonably priced. They also do a good value weekend brunch, an ideal venue for a get together with friends for a few drinks and great comfort food. There is a limited selection for vegetarians, otherwise the food is fantastic. Sometimes it can get Smokey inside but there is also an outside garden area, which is less smokey if you want to take a breather. The garden area is air conditioned and covered with a temporary roof during the summer months. McGettigan’s Irish Bar is definitely a must in Dubai for it's great ambiance, music, food and drinks.

After 4 walls with aircon, constantly blowing in the office - best spot to hang OUT, as long as weather permits, but even if it doesn`t, the pint of draft can make it up. I adore their lovely managers who even running in rush on the weekend, won`t bypass you letting you standing at the bar (if ur a lady of course) & get you chair, this is just sweet:)

Yes, it's a little bit early but we like to start the weekend with some pints. It's nice to start the weekend after work while the place isn't full yet and till the sun comes down.

My favorite bar in town, specially on Wednesdays when there is live music. It is always full of lively people, the bar staff is pretty nice and the bouncers are specially smiley... at least to girls, from what I've seen =) . Food is also amazing, though the menu will not probably make everyone happy. Feel a Guinness!

This is a good place for a VERY EASY beer and food with friends. The food is heavy pub style just like you would get back home and they have a half decent selection of commercial beers and ales. The only thing that isnt in its favour is that not many girls wanna go there as its just full of red faced guys. SO if your single its not the best place to look for chicks...another thing...way to many smokers and football shirts (Torremolinos 1998... Wooo)

This is one of Dubai's best new pubs. Pros: really nice decor, the best quiz night in Dubai and pretty good location if you live close. The cons: very smokey, very wasted UK dudes all over the place and the food portions are tiny....but as far as pubs go this is a keeper...in moderation I always say.

crazy busy last night and i love how they have covered the out side area and made the bar twice as big. this place is just getting more and more popular.
