What can I say. This is a true Egyptian staple. Unbelievably tasty and barely $1 per bowl of grub it's fantastic and I could literally survive on it for a week. The staff is really friendly and there's no issue ordering with even basic Arabic skills. Go here to feel like you've made it off the beaten touristy path...because there are no tourists here. Only locals from what I saw and I ate here 5 times in 1 week. lol
