Relaxing weekend and a great Hatha yoga session at balance Wellness had filled me with all the positiveness. However my stomach started rumbling so I Spotted balance cafe and decided to have lunch there.Good thing about menu is that every dish has nutrition values written below which gives a good idea to the diner about what they are consuming. The place was nearly empty though, it was weekend I was expecting cafe to be at least 50% filled. Anyways so I was checking with the staff about the order, initially I ordered chicken roulade but was been told that it isn't available. So I opted for vegetable Gratin, a detox smoothie and mango terrine with raspberry coulis. The service is a bit slow. The food that I had was light, not heavily spiced and nothing that would cause a heart attack. No fuss and no frills, its just simple flavorful food . The detox smoothie was great accompaniment to my vegetable gratin and actually tasted nice. If I were to actually blend orange, carrot, ginger and apple I don't think I would get a smoothie.. a disaster maybe because ginger would overpower the taste of all other contents but here it was balanced.. However I had asked not to add ice to my smoothie but still there was an ice cube in there. My mango terrine was nice, it had that real mango sweetness and was a perfect end to the meal. Didn't like the coulis served with it though.Overall the place is good, service is slow but staff is friendly (except for one server who was not really paying any attention to the guests waiting) so that sort of makes up for it. Prices are a bargain if compared with the quality that is on offer. I felt the portion of main course was a bit smaller but was big on taste.

Here's a little place, not to fancy in Oasis Center that serves some great food. I was there last night. They had they're regular menu or the Ramadan Menu (which was about AED 55 per person). I opted for the Ramadan. It consisted of a welcome drink (watermelon juice), an appetizer (dates, garlic bread, moutabel, hommous), soup (Mulligatawny soup with chicken) and a main course (I chose lamb biryani , you have a choice of pan seared fish, light chicken curry, mushroom risotto & some more) and finally a dessert (Choco Fig Tart with Raspberry Coulis ). I was really impressed by the simple decor, quality of food and service. Overall, a great place to dine.
If you are lost and find yourself on the top floor of the Oasis Center, then you will be thrilled that there is the Balance Cafe. The food is really good. I had the chicken curry, and it was nothing short of perfect. The problem was the service. It wasn't so busy that a drink order should take 20 mins! In a perfect scenario where this place isn't difficult to get to, I would go quite often. It was that good
I thought this place was good but the service was terrible. They came to get our drink order after 20 min after I had to ask. So that kind of put me off from the beginning but the food was actually good. Basically it’s an Indian restaurant that does healthy options like this tofu spinach pasta thing I had which was pretty good. Besides the Indian dishes they have burgers and salads and stuff. They do have a good vegetarian menu as well and plenty of gluten free dishes to choose from. If this place wasn’t such a pain to get to, terrible parking for a mall, elevator takes like 15 min because there is only 2, and the escalators are so inefficient, I would probably come back more often. I would say if you were already in the mall then eat here, if not I don’t think I would come back.
You ate tofu??
Balance Cafe is a gem hidden on the top floor of the Oasis Center. I came here for lunch for the first time and was impressed by their menu - all healthy items that follow Ayurvedic ways of cooking and mixing different foods. They also have a cooking school at the back and a delivery service that delivers all of your meals to your doorstep. This is part of a diet food plan you can sign up for after you visit the Ayurvedic doctors next door at the Balance Wellness 360 center. I highly recommend the baked yogurt (see image). I will definitely be coming back!
balance cafe is a wonder ful place to dine and have snacks.the ambience is really good.service is excellent and the location is also good.the food quality and taste is great.
Balance Cafe Restaurant was located in the Oasis Center which is very accessible now by Dubai Metro , i've been here twice and i will suggest to everyone to visit this place , they served a delicious food and healthy as well , they have dish suitable to your taste if you seat there you will not see expatriates but you will see a lot of tourist who love to dine-in.One thing i love also in this place was they have Cooking school inside where some events performed so after dine-in you can see and watch the show by the different famous companies in UAE and im GLAD that i one of the participant of GLAD ARABIA COOKING CHALLENGE 2012 which held 2 weeks ago, and blessed to be a 2nd runner up too. I would suggest that try to visit this place the food price was very affordable and one thing they have very polite staffs
Tried out this place on my way to see a client as it was close by and heard it was amazing healthy and my type of place. Was a bit disappointed by the menu - it seems to have an indian influence over most of the menu (not all but most) and this to me is one of the most unhealthy cuisines available but anyway I picked the asparagus risotto with white truffel oil. It was delicious although I question how healthy it actually is. Risotto is creamy and delicious because of the cheese and butter.... They also had an interesting high protein vegetarian lasagne (With tofu) on the menu which i would like to try next time however again This to me is not healthy at all. White pasta sheets have no nutritional value to them at all... This is a nice cafe - but I dont think they have earned the right to be titled a 'healthy' cafe. This place is not healthy! Just a normal cafe!
An awesome place for a perfect healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
You are hooked up to this cosy restaurant
The options r vast, the protium are reasonable and filling, despite it being healthy it's very tasty, I liked that they had the calories an nutritional facts on the menu. And their bakes yogurt is a must!!
