Having heard so much about this restaurant, my partner and I decided to try it out. I wasn't pleased with the shop interior, it was too washed out and lacked any sort of character.
We probably made a mistake in ordering things off the menu instead of the bread, pies, croissant selection that they're known for.
I had the Salmon Crepes and they were yummy. Perhaps a bit heavy on the cream and cheese side but nice all the same.
My boyfriend had a croque monsieur and he hated it. He was quite sick the entire day afterwards and he reckons it was the turkey ham or turkey breast slices that were in it.
So, try stick to the patisserie items on display for a good experience at Paul's.
