The Al Hambra experience is never disappointing. We were a large group, so the set menu at AED 180/person was a requirement. The sangria is very tasty, and the potato bread appetizer is really a wonderful starter. I love the tomato relish and garlic aoli they serve with it. The 6 tapas included gazpacho (a shot of cold tomato soup), garlic shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, crispy calamari, chicken croquets, and patatas bravas. The mushrooms and garlic shrimp were my favorites. The main course of mixed (seafood and chicken) paella was not great. The seafood and chicken were overcooked and it just didn't have a ton of flavor. It was decent, but after all the great tapas, it was a bit of a let down. The dessert was delicious: Creme brûlée with a scoop of lemon sorbeto on top. Other notes: They served Spanish Estrella beer, the service was pretty good and the outdoor atmosphere is quite nice and relaxing. Definitely worth checking out!
