This is a highly frequented place due to its proximity to home. The beef ball pho is my standard order, together with the spring rolls. Try the stuffed crab as well - it is good but the size depends on your luck since the crab shells used are inconsistent (while the price remains at AED20). We end up eating pretty much the standard items but the local desserts could be better (especially the pearl bubble tea). The quality has deteriorated lately but still a dinner option. The watermelon juice can be refreshing during summer while the Vietnamese coffee is definitely a novelty! Hygiene - well, definitely better than in Hanoi or HCM (although some reviews raised this as a concern). Management should take heed of these feedback.

We tried this restaurant at jlt, it looks nice and there were lots of decorations going on about their old and new culture, we were actually excited as if we found another place to hang out so we tried a couple of their main courses and drinks. Unfortunately, we became speechless,it was just ordinary for our taste, flat. I cant even tell what's special about their food, aside from the slow service.it wasn't even busy when we went there. Disappointing!

We go here once a week :) It's reasonably priced, we over the Hanoi Special Pho (every time) hahahaha, it's so good that we haven't even bothered trying something else yet. The beef balls are just amazing. Worth every dirham. The good thing is they do asian drinks as well like bubble tea - their pearls quality varies. Some days its good some days its bad, so it's a bit of a gamble. But the pho, good - every time!

I've been here at Hanoi in JLT two months ago and I can say that this place is really cool. They designed the place according to their culture with this banana tree on the side and from the time you will enter the place, you can smell yourself like their food already because of the smoke coming from the kitchen which is normal when you really go to Vietnam (for small local restaurants). The chairs and the table cover is really cute... reminds me with my Vietnamese friends....

We ordered some pho with beef on it... its pretty good I guess. The hot Spicy wings is my favorite with the twist of garlic on it. The details of crispiness was their and being juicy inside. The Rice rolls with shrimp is really good too, you can feel the freshness of everything on it.

Dubai's restaurant scene always seems to host expensive, over the top decor and average food. This place is a great diversion to all that , located in JLT this is yummy ,healthy Vietnamese food with great prices!

Highly recommended!

well, after reading the reviews in Yadig, i tried this place. Pho noolde was ok, really just ok, nothing great about the food here, i mean, Pho noodles.
I tried Pho noodles in USA, Korea and Shangrila dubai but the food here is just ok, but again, this is what i paid for. I visited Hanoi again. This time, my soup was served by a waiter who happens to place his long dirty thumb nail. it was disgusting,,,maybe the manager wants to check on the hygiene part.

I am Vietnamese and this place is no where close to being authentic! The summer rolls had egg in them and the bun bo (vermicelli beef) didn't even use proper vermicelli noodles instead they used fatter noodles like spaghetti and the beef looked like it had been reused from a pho dish....the prawn mango salad and ginger tea I had which was the only thing that was good.

I came here for a lunch a few weeks ago with a friend. The food is very good and fresh. I also really liked their ice teas - both taste-wise as well as size-wise.
Portions are on the big side, so nice for sharing.

I will certainly pop in again for lunch or dinner.

Dear Hanoi Cafe: I love you. I want to marry you. I want to have ten thousand of your babies. Seriously, I heart Hanoi Cafe. It has become my go-to lunch delivery resto. The chicken pho is divine. I tried the five spices duck mi, which was delicious, but a bit difficult to consume during an informal work meeting simply because the duck bones were challenging to navigate with chopsticks. Today I had the bun ga & cha nem - fantastic. This place rocks. The delivery is always super fast and the delivery guy is really nice...maybe because we are becoming besties as he sees me no fewer than three times a week for my lunch delivery.

I'm really happy to see the inclusion of a Vietnamese restaurant among the Dubai eatery set. You'll find the typical fair of Pho and other tasty morsels. Today I had the Checken Cha Nem Bun. That's a chicken-type spring roll, noodles and some fresh veg. Toss on the asian dressing and it was a tasty lunch treat. I've had the Pho in the past and enjoyed that too. I'm Hanoi Happy!!!!

I agree with the reviewers below. Hanoi Cafe serves authentic, well priced Vietnamese food. Don't come here expecting atmosphere or anything fancy. This place is to cure your Asian food craving and that's all. The kitchen is open so you will likely smell of food when you leave. The big bowl noodle soups are wonderful - full of flavor and very filling. I tried the chicken 'Pho' with rice noodles. My friend had the beef 'Pho' and her's looked better - especially since I found a few bones/cartilage in the chicken which almost put me off. The photo attached to this review is of the prawn and mango salad which is perfect to share. I would also suggest sharing the fresh rice paper springrolls (not the friend springrolls). Total bill for two including two big bowl 'Pho' soups and two starters =AED110.00.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Dubai hands down. Food is authentic, delicious and decently priced. The decor is no frills, but that doesn't matter when the pho is so good.

Authentic, tasty, healthy, and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? I'd recommend the pho ga and the goi cuon.

Yum. I'm a huge fan of vietnamese food so was really excited to try this place for lunch. It really could not be more authentic-everything was delicious and the staff were actually Vietnamese. We had the summer rolls, shrimp in tamarind sauce and a side of steamed pak choy. With drinks for 2, it was AED100. Big drawback -it seems they only deliver within JLT and "locally" in Marina which apparently means near the metro station. Seriously disappointing. Hopefully they expand that soon.

Ok - if you do not know JLT well you will need to look at a map and/ or have Hanoi's number handy to get directions. I got so lost and so did my friend. This place is hidden very well on the ground floor of cluster C and if you don't know where cluster C is located, basically its on the Abu Dhabi side of JLT parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road. I was so frustrated when I arrived but the food is really good so it was worth it in the end. I recommend the summer rolls with prawns and the mango and prawn salad. I also had the rare beef Pho (see image) but they were out of glass noodles and it wasn't as good with vermicelli. Another downside (besides the hard to find location) is that you will smell like food after eating here as the kitchen is not properly ventilated. As for price, dinner for 2 (2 dishes each and water) AED 108. Not bad at all.

I've eaten here a few times now, and successfully introduced it to all of my friends. When the weather gets a bit cooler, I'll be going here regularly at lunchtimes. A proper delivery service would be a goldmine for them. There are so many dishes on the menu that I want to try, but I can't seem to tear myself away from the Hanoi Special Pho (see pic) washed down with a Thai Shaken Ice Tea. Heaven. Fantastic value for money too.

Got referred by a Pho-fessional Vietnamese fan. One who has been eating out of the Abu Dhabi location for the past few years. Well Dubains, as you know its now in Dubai. I had the Summer Roll for a teaser and the Chicken Pho for lunch. You also get a bunch of onions, springs, and beats. Throw it all in the Pho together, Use the Chop sticks for a bit. Switch to the spoon to get some broth down. And repeat!
