Caos Caos Caos. Make sure you get to Mahiki early and have a table or suffer the consequences. If not you will be standing in an hour line to get in and then another one at the bar. I love the music and the vibe to whole place but there is just a lot that goes with that. It is one of the busiest and best clubs in Dubai for sure so if you have not been keep an opened mind to the red tape of getting in.

Last time i was there was for Salsa with my girls from Germany. I am glad i didn't face the bouncers or anyone to #$%^&* me off by the door, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing to not only my visitors but also to Me. I hope not to face that in the future, i do love my salsa and in case its back after Ramadan, please management i hope we have clearer policies....

i don't know what everyone is raving about but i think this is the place you go when you want to hang out with pretentious people, racists (my friend from TEXAS was shocked how racist this place was)
we were there by 9 and they did not let us in because apparently it was packed but they were letting other people in who told us that they had no reservation.
6 months later am still recovering from how low class the people there are.

Been to the London one, still prefer the one in Dubai.

Great setting and music, staff are amazingly fun and creative and end up partying away with you! The drinks are strong and served up in super funky styles! Had a bite here a few times too, the hand cut chips are simply amazing!

Definitely a standard fixture on Tuesdays for Ladies' night!

Great small club, love the novolty drink holders, and the variety of cocktails. The service is extremely quick, and the staff are always happy to help. There is a great atmosphere, with great music. Love the way they bring out the treasure chests, with the confetti and dry ice, great!

I agree with DreWerD7 in regards to the bartenders. They definitely have skills behind that bar and the cocktails are so fun and strong so watch out! Mahiki is one of those places that you know will always be busy and that's the allure. That and because it's has a young, fun atmosphere and the music is commercial which seems to be a good thing as people enjoy knowing the songs.

I came here on a Tuesday and it was full. So full, they had to close the doors and unfortunately some of our friends were still outside. It really seems to be the hot spot on a Tuesday. If you've had issues at the door, or if you can't get in, the obvious solution is to arrive early.

Has anyone tried the food there? I've never thought about eating in a nightclub but they seem to be promoting the bar menu...

Advertise a ladies night but won't let 2 couples in unless you spend 4,000 dhs on a table or put some cash in the hand of the French manager, very disappointed after James leaving the place...no respect to customers....seriously avoid and go to a proper ladies night place

Horrible.... we went last friday to celebrate a bachelorette party... 10 girls just wanting to have fun, we were all wearing pink hats that were taken away from us at the entrance because they had a "dress code" policy. We got in, had dinner and few drinks... the bachelorette was wearing a tiara and funky glasses, so they came back and ask her to remove everything because it was against their policy, even though we had booked and had told them we were celebrating a bachelorette party and they said there was no problem. At the end we didnt bother, we just left cause they were treating us horrible... !! Not coming back....

I had not been to Mahiki in a while and was there last Thursday. I forgot how smokey it gets. I washed my hair and it still stank like smoke. Music is mostly commercial - before I remember it being a mix from the past 5 decades. The crowd has gone down a bit - strange mix of weird people. Drinks take a long time at the bar so it's better to get a table with bottle service if you have a large group. I'm not rushing back to Mahiki anytime soon, but still think its fun when you're with a fun group.

Went for ladies night on Tuesday 7 May, 2013. While my girlfriends and I made it in with ease, there were others who were sent away by a skinny ugly doorman. While inside, it was funky'ish but laden with what my friends and I thought to be prostitutes and tables surrounded by them along with sleezy guys. Horrible place! I felt dirty so left very early.

I went to Mahiki last Tuesday for the ladies Night which I had heard some great reviews about... and I was not disappointed! We arrived early and all had a lovely manicure in the lounge and were treated to yummy free cocktails.... then partied the night away until the early hours of the morning! Amazing night, and I must say the guy on the door is HOT! Definitely visiting again

This is one of the best clubs in Dubai. Their specialty drink is "Mahiki", reminds me of the tiki puka puka. 2 of it is ok, the third you'll pass out! I love how fast their bartenders are, even though the place is always packed, we never have to wait for too long to get drinks like most of other places, then end up buying a bottle to avoid the hassle. They play everything from pop to commercial, but as it gets late, they start playing classics. By the way, we were here recently on a Thursday night, showed up at 1:30 and didn't have a problem at all, although the place was fully packed and I'm not white. The only downside is that it is always too crowded that you cant really dance.

Just returned to this place after 6months, and I was impressed from the very start. They've got rid of the old ego maniac on the door and replaced him with a HOTTIE!!! As always it was rammed by midnight and I'd forgotten how fun this place is. Free cocktails until midnight too, whats not to like!

I visited last Tuesday for Ladies Night as it was free drinks for ladies up till midnight i think. I also asked the bartender and he said it was unlimited drinks too! The music is a good mix, they had some 80's playing and also songs I hear on the radio today! The club got full and the atmosphere was really good, we had a great night. Me and my friends have all agreed were going again next Tuesday! Thanks Mahiki !

One word for this place...PRETENTIOUS!!! The Vanilla ice-wanna-be at the door deciding who goes in and who doesn't #$%^&*ed me off. He let me and the girls stroll in just fine, but when we tried to convince him to let two of our friends in, he acted a fool!. The place is full with sleazy men, just looking for hot women to pursued to join their table, so they look cool surrounded by women. Your not! THis place is pathetic. The so-called Burlesque dancers are lame! I know they're trying to look seductrious, but honey all you look like is like your bored as hell and rather be somewhere else with those sad dance moves.

Euricodcosta You've definitely got a chip on your shoulder. This is the most UN-pretentious super club in Dubai. You gotta get out more often. Your comment did bring out a giggle though.

SweetFace26

SweetFace26 sorry but I've given this spot plenty of chance...its simply a cesspool of tacky vermin. Have encountered some of the most cheesy, disrespectful typical men in here. All the girls act ridiculous, i mean give yourself some respect ladies! Heard from a friend that was there recently that the DJ was basically just changing radio stations. Went from trans music to a whitney houston song....lazy and pathetic. I believe people just go there expecting it to be like the one in London.

Ever since its opening, one of the most popular clubs in Dubai and they can afford to be picky. I've never seen so many girls been turned away, even at midnight - when its simply packed. With a table its a great club, otherwise its too tight and too full. The team is from London and if you know the right people there, it will always be a great evening. Drinks are reasonably priced and quite good - go easy on them, Mahiki has a weird effect..

Ok, being recently new to Dubai I don't really know where to go or what to do but everyone keeps talking about this place so I tried it this weekend. When I first walked up the line was basically in the street so I had no hopes for getting in, they were even making the girls line up. I am from the US and usually they just let the girls in no matter what, I guess they do it differently in Dubai. Anyways, after about 20 min we finally got it and let me tell you it was ridiculously packed. I mean if there was a fire everyone would have burned to death, I guess that's why they just don't let anyone in. I will have to say it was good vibe inside, it was a pretty relaxed crowd and they were playing everything from Michael Jackson to Lil Wayn. I guess I would come back I will just make sure I book in advanced next time.
