I was fortunate enough to have been invited to the beautiful and stunning 'Al Majlis' tent in Mina Al Salam Hotel for a corporate iftar. To be frank, of all the tents in Dubai, this is by far my favourite and I never tire of this place, just not easy to get a booking! The tent actually sells out for suhoor during the first week of Ramadan and thereafter is fully booked for the whole month of Ramadan. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a warm smile, a cold refreshing towel and escorted to your table...you know you're in good hands.

We were in one of the corner VIP Majlis's and it was to die for as not only was it beautifully set up but the service was impeccable and we were waited on hand and foot literally. We had a center piece with food items (salads and deserts) so you needed to go up to the main buffet to take your main course. The staff spoilt us rotten and even brought some main course items to us which we really appreciated.

What was funny was that some of the public kept coming up to take pictures of the food in our center piece and to take from our buffet! Of course in the spirit of Ramadan we couldn't tell them this was a private Majlis and to go away....we just let them! lol

The quality of the food was good and we were blessed we didn't have to stand in line since the tent is huge and takes about 800 people I think.

If you're looking to impress and want a top notch iftar, this is the place to go. It's a favorite of HRH Sheikh Mohamed too and he often books for his VIP guests.

If you happen to be able to go for suhoor it's nice as they have shisha and live oriental music continues until the wee hours of the morning....

This a review for the Ramadan tent in Mina A'Salam.

The room is huge, the ambiance and atmosphere is very nice with the high ceiling, it does not have the usual stuffy feeling in many restaurants when there is a large number of people there. Service was also on point and the waiters were attentive and friendly.

The buffet was had a wide selection but not nearly enough as one would expect in such a hotel, and at many times, the food was cold. The food tasted okay, but there was nothing special about it. The buffet at altitude which is in JBH which is right next door is way better than this and it costs almost the same,

at first i really like the room, the dresser area at the entrance , the bed, and the view from the balcon, i really enjoy my stay, also the bathroom all in marble was fine, when we enter in the room we had a fruit platter, it cost around more than 4000aed for one night with all tax and we took some club sandwich i think and something else from room service, we want to try the yoga class in the morning at talise spa but 7am was too early for a relax day that we wanted to enjoy, we enjoy the beach as well even if it wasnt the best weather we had, its including some food and beverage that you can order over there, i can compare now that i ve been to other getaway week end with my husband and family that compare to the price we can have more service than a fruit platter in the room i think... it was nice but nothing that i can talk about like i did when i went to shangri la Abu dhabi, i know its not the same but for the difference of price and more to talk about..i was surprise for a Jumeirah group..
they told me that al qasr is much better and would be less disapointed but for almost double the price i will not give it the try and risk the disapointment.. will review al qasr if i have family that would stay there but with my advice they ve been staying at other place and where always happy.

It's Ramadan, and I go to the tent in Mina salaam, we usually head there for Iftar and sometimes even after just to grab a bite to eat before sunrise, I always enjoy going there, they also have a lot of restaurants so you have plenty of options,

Was here yesterday for their annual Singapore Chili Crab Festival. It's actually fun that every year they hold this family oriented event for everyone to taste the best of Singapore. From the Singapore Sling to the chili crabs. Amazing for the whole family to try for the weekends. It's at the Ampitheater. Live Entertainment and Kids Activities, live cooking and you can even make your own crab burgers with the chefs.

Reputed as one of the best hotels in all of Dubai and this is no doubt very true. The facilities and technology here are so superb it would need anyone else five years to catch up to it, I'm sure. The food, the services and the drinks, all are excellent.

It has been a superlative expereince living at this place, if even for a short while. It makes me feel like royalty the way they respect and treat you  here. The staff is well prepared to cater to your every whim. It makes me feel jealous and sad to leave such elegance behind.
