This is one of my favorite restaurants in dubai. i visited this restaurant many times with my family, colleagues, friends, guests etc.... their chicken fazitzas, mexican salads & quesedellas are very delicious. staffs are very friendly, kind & helpful. the location is very beautiful with water views. i usually take out sitting to have beautiful views of marina is truely enjoyable. My son enjoy very much every time with different delicacies fro mexico & i like it. parking is free for 2 hours, dont forget to take a stamp from the restaurant on the bill.

This place has very decent tex mex fare. Totally awesome marina views and not horrible prices but the staff was very incompetent...like to the point where I literally thought I was being punk'd...Richmond our waiter was seriously dull to a different kind of level...For instance when I ordered Fajitas I asked him if it was enough for 1 or two people....he literally could not understand the question at all..and just said do you want 1? or 2 sir....After 3 or four times back and forth I just said give me 1....for myself... it came out HUGE...and was obviously for 2 people as I had suspected...see photo... Another instance of unskilled staff being put as the face of business...ruining an otherwise very pleasant evening. Besides that sour taste, the place was great.

I totally agree with "The Flying Panda". Food was just OK, but not authentic mexican at all, even the Mojito wasn't that impressive. Shisha was Ok.

I've eaten here a few times, and always been disappointed. The food's not terrible, it's just completely average. They had a perfect opportunity to try and go for the more authentic end of the scale like Maria Bonitas, but instead, it's languishing way behind the likes of Chillis, El Chico, On The Border, etc. It's such a prime location, they really should up their game a bit. If you can't be bothered going to over to JBR and you want some Mexican food, then it'll be fine, otherwise you have 3 better options at JBR.

Sorry, not impressed. Went to a buffet iftar once, last year. Never again. Tasted like factory, mass-produced food. Disgusting. Someone told me to try iftar there this year, never again.

After a day by the pool I went to the Dubai Marina for dinner. Along the Marina Walk there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. I had already tried Japanese, Lebanese, Persian and Iranian, so my choice tonight was Mexican. A bit unusual in Dubai, but why not! I had passed Salsa Dubai several times and it always seemed busy. A good thing in my book. Salsa Dubai is located right on the Marina Walk and has a nice view of the yachtes. The restaurant serves something between texmex and real Mexican food. The real thing you only get in Mexico in my opinion. They offer an extensive menu including nachos, fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, chimichangas, bocadillos and a variety of vegetarian choices. And Keith, they serve both chicken and beef burgers, so you will be fine there! On the drink menu there were soft drinks, fruit juices, milk shakes and cocktails (without alcohol). I ordered a chicken enchilada and I must admit that it was the best enchilada I have eaten outside Mexico. The outside terrace is nice for evening dinning, but the colourful woven tablecloths don´t succeed in creating the Mexican atmosphere. The inside dinning area looked more like something from a food court in a Mall. It helps a little bit with the Mexican music though (musica ranchera). All of the locals seemed to smoke shisha, which looked a bit out of place in a Mexican restaurant, but I guess they have to adapt to local habits to attract customers! For 32 Dhs you can get one too. SadiaChowdhury Contd: Choose from mint, watermelon, apple, double apple, melon, strawberry, lemon, rose, grapes, salloom, orange and cherry. Service was great. The waiters were friendly, courteous and very efficient. And they gave you just the right amount of attention. If you like good Mexican food and don´t mind the lack of Mexican atmosphere Salsa Dubai is the place to eat! If you are too lazy to go out, they also offer free home delivery!

OK food here, although doesnt taste authentic mexican at all. The Guacamole tasted very bland and in general found the food very oily and fast food like. Good service nontheless and fast delivery times.
