Friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed the food, sitting outside on nice nights. Service is quite good, especially for an inexpensive place, too. I wonder if everyone working there is connected/related to the "owner." Seems like they haven't just hired people for cheap who--surprise--don't care much about anything.

went for lunch today an it was alright, worth going but nothing to brag about. maybe i just ordered bad, i don't know , but i had the gheehon (27aed) noodles with chicken and it was just OK. dumpling were nothing spectacular either. we sat out side since the weather was nice, this place is not fancy, popped my head in the door and it's pretty simple as well. staff was friendly and helped out with the menu. it is a pretty cool area of town with other cool looking restaurants around it so i will be back to that area to try some other stuff.

Gave this place a try for lunch and it was, well, interesting. The spring rolls were decent, and the sauce had a nice little kick to it. Shrimp dumplings were also pretty good. For the main, I had a fried rice dish with seafood and chicken skewers (pictured, because I can't spell/pronounce the name). I couldn't put my finger on it, but something was off. The rice was tasty, but I think I was turned off by the little pieces of dried fish inside. The highlight for me was the iced lemon/mint juice. Won't be rushing back anytime soon, but I'd say "Worth a try..."

We tried this place last night. it's very easy to find from the street going right with the Pizza Hut then just straight ahead you'll see this humble restaurant. It's just small and the menu is direct to the point. It looks like a photo album, easier for me to know what I'll order. I had shirmp dumplings for starters and the singaporean laksa. I really loved the spicy curry taste of it. Just right. My sister had the Nasi Paggang, I think she was not lucky with the dry chicken that they served and lemon mint. A must try is the milk cola as well. All in all the bill was 97 AED. Well, average but not that cheap I may say. Another hidden gem for me.

Spore Deli is right opposite the burjuman. Since the weather is nice & chilly, we enjoyed our hot dinner outside.I had my ayam nasi panggang – which is just white steamed rice served with juicy-sweetly marinated grilled chicken and some cut-up veggie. the grilled chicken is marinated well, and tasted delicious. It's open daily from 12 noon to 12 midnight, with the exception of friday of course, when they open after friday prayer at 3pm.

Found this tiny restaurant 2 blocks away from my office. So far I have tried Nasi Lemak, Seafood Char Kuay Teow, Nasi Rendang and Soto Ayam. Let's just say, "Food court no more!" The price is very reasonable. 30 AED for a dish and a drink. They even have teh tarik, iced milo and ginger tea on the menu. The taste is authentic and I am a very satisfied customer. So for anyone who is looking for Indonesian/Singapore food in Dubai, this is your answer.
