The Meydan Hotel is one of my personal favourite hotel getaways (even though it's only 15 minutes out of town) as it could be anywhere in the world. It's quiet and peaceful and you can relax quickly and enjoy your time to the maximum. The rooms have been designed very well and there is a huge amount of storage and little hidden sections for your luggage and the unsightly things that make your room normally look a little messy. The bed is heaven and faces the big screen TV and the room we had opened up onto the Meydan Racetrack which is actually a beautiful sight in the mornings and evenings when you're having a few sundowners. The bathrooms are huge and the cupboard opens up like a two way wall so if you've forgotten to grab a dressing gown or some clothes you can access them directly from the bathroom. Very smart. The Meydan Hotel is huge, I mean it's the longest hotel in the world or something crazy so it's also a great little exercise pace between restaurants or that next cocktail. There's heaps of dining options so you don't feel like you're going to the same place over and over again and the food is sensational. The Meydan hotel is a place within Dubai to escape the rat race and enjoy a relaxing long weekend. You must also try the pool on the top floor as they have styled glass panels that make you feel like you're hovering above the racetrack which is very cool.

Had recently booked an overnight stay at Meydan Hotel and it was a delightful experience. It was a Grand Deluxe room with a King – sized bed (Is there really another bed size when you book a hotel room? Seriously, if I were Thumbelina I would still get a king size bed) and a separate Balcony overlooking the Meydan Horse Racing Track, the biggest race track in Dubai. This was at the cost of AED 1,550 per night and it was worth it and double worth it. The security was acting a little funny when I was checking-in, which till today I can’t fathom why I was scrutinized so much. (I do not look like a criminal!) The room was soft, mellow with what I would call an understated luxury. (Meaning it’s not too s#$%^&*y to make you uncomfortable). And the Bathtub, Oh My Goodness, the Bathtub! I spent more time in the bathtub than in the actual bed because Tada! It’s HUGE and you can watch the television from there!! With surround sound, dime lights, loads of bubbles and a family pack of chips. Definitely going back for more!

meydan is fabulous. i went there for the horse races this year because a friend had a booth upstairs. i didn't expect it to be all that but i'm glad i decided to go. having being raised in dubai, hotels don't usually get me excited as there's new ones almost everyday in this region. they have the largest HD screen for movies as well, and although, i haven't watched a movie there yet, i'm sure the experience would be wonderful! if you've never been here, you need to wait until the next big event (like a concert) and definitely check it out. it's beautifulll.

I arrived at Meydan about 30 mins early for the Iftar Buffet this week at the Meydan. This was my first time to the Titanic-esque hotel. We asked the front reception if they could give us a tour. We were shown a ginormous two-bedroom suite overlooking the front and downtown dubai for only 4k night. I've only seen such luxury once or twice, with hidden doors leading to trackview balcony bedrooms. The Iftar itself was fantastic with a at least 50 items to choose from. I definitely recommend Meydan for Dinner, or if you and your special someone want to get away without going away.

A lovely hotel. The room interiors are very modern and sophisticated. The rooms are also very very big ! We were able to fit in an extra bed for the child and STILL had space. The bathrooms are also amazing with Elemis soaps and a bathtub with a mini tv (quite alot of time was spent in there), Overall the rooms were wonderful ! However, the recreational activites at the hotel aren't much. If you come during the racing season, you might be able to get a stable tour, but for the rest of the year there is just a shooting simulation, tennis court and a standard pool. The breakfast at Farriers was also mediocre as there wasn't a wide spread and most of the food was cold by the time we came ( around 8:30-9 ), the quality of the food was also just average. However, the Shiba restaurant was very, very nice. It offers a variety of cuisines from Indian to Chinese and Thai, the food is of exceptional quality and I definitely enjoyed the meal. The hotel is nice to come to if you want to enjoy Dubai and its activites, but not really a place where you can enjoy the hotel.

A truly rare and stunning look from the second you walk in. I tell people it's like being in the titanic. The shape and decor looks like a modern version of the main lobby of the ship from the movie I swear. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. I have pretty random requests and they never missed a beat. Stayed for a long weekend and it was fabulous...one tip...stay during the race season so you get to watch the races if you have time/view. It's not cheap but really stunning and you really just feel a 2000 miles from Dubai. Maybe one of the nicest hotels on earth?

One of the best hotels I have been to in the UAE! Its so easy to reach there using the normal signboard directions. However, the entrance could be pretty confusing. We missed our first parking turn towards to hotel and ended up going through the second one which leads to the Meydan racecourse which was closed halfway due to construction. There was a nonstop 9 hours meeting sponsored by KPMG in their meeting halls which was huge and perfect for such meetings. We used to get complimentary breakfast & snacks along with buffet lunch from the restaurant (forgot name!) which was my food heaven!
