This place is the best sushi restaurant in town...expensive especially after the last hike but still an enjoyment...much better than other big names!

ZMan Yeah I agree totally. Tokyo at the Towers is definitely one of the most underrated Sushi restaurants in Dubai. Also price wise it is definitely cheaper then the Zuma's and Nobu's.

This place probably has the been Teppanyaki that I've ever tasted. I had been there for lunch and it was quiet and serene, but when I went there for dinner I could hear the karaoke singers. So, it all depends when you go. A young lady at the reception took us to the teppanyaki counter (which has to be booked in advance) ...there is normal seating as well. We were seated and waiting for our chef to arrive. For the teppanyaki, the chef cooks right in front of you. When he arrived , we ordered king prawns and lobster teppanyaki. The very cheerful chef then started doing his tricks with the knives and made us some delicious lobster first, and then the prawns. They serve it with some stir friend vegetables and rice. This place also serve sushi and other Japanese delicacies and alcohol as well, but we go there for the amazing teppanyaki. Make sure that you do no miss out on the mochi. I tried the green tea mochi and it was delicious. Tokyo at the Towers is a bit expensive compared to other places around but they serve some really good food. Its worth trying out once in a while.

Amazing sushi, staff is very attentive and the live cooking front of you on the teppanyaki tables is pretty fun. Next time I'll sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi man make his marvelous creations. Have the hot sake, it's good value for money and adds to the experience. After that you can go sing at Harry Ghatto's!

Nice place but no ambience. The sushi was fresh and the teppanyaki was well made with top quality produce. For me the best and the show stealer was the green tea ice cream, that alone will keep me coming back.

So many good things said about this place. They are all true. I was here yesterday for lunch and at around 2 and it was empty. Shame, would be great to see this place buzzing. Or was everyone there at 1? Quality of the sushi here is fantastic, i have never been disappointed. We were the only ones at the sushi counter with the chef all to ourselves - nice. I love Tokyo's Wakame salad and i order it almost every time. Had that and chef made me a special roll that i requested. What's great about Tokyo is the atmosphere - plenty of privacy and beautiful simple and chic decor. Parking is never in issue and free for 3 hours, if you are a princess you can leave it with the valley. Top choice for lunch. Top choice for group dinner.

Tokyo has a good business lunch deal. For 70aed you can either chicken or beef teriyaki or a chicken katzu curry and it comes with a miso soup, edamame and a salad. Sweet deal, tasty food, beautiful venue!

I always forget about Tokyo at the Towers for sushi but after reading Jimbo's great review I went there this weekend and tried the sushi counter. For me, eating at the sushi counter is a lot less formal. I like it as you feel like you have your own personal sushi chef and there's more interaction. If you're looking for a casual and fun atmosphere this is a great option. You'll also get to hear what's going on in Harry Ghattos as there's only a sliding door that separates the restaurant from the bar. This can either be hilarious or annoying depending on your personality.

Great Japanese food, reasonably priced! There's also a live cooking station and they have sweet lunch deals.

The sushi here is just amazing, I don't know why more people don't talk about how good it is. I am not really down for tepinayki so in the back of this restaurant they have a great little sushi counter. It seats about 8 people and you get the sushi chef pretty much all to yourself. Definitely a cozy great atmosphere as well as knock out great sushi. Also the sushi is fairly priced too, about 35AED for a roll and their rolls are freaking huge. The best part about the whole experience, minus the great sushi, is that it is literally 2 meters from their karaoke bar Harry Gatos. Their is the sliding door next to the sushi bar that lets you in which is amazing because when you get done eating you just pop over to the karaoke bar for some good times. best combination of food and fun in Dubai and it is reasonably priced...oh they also have Sapporo on draft which is sweet!

The best Black Cod in town in my opinion- just the right firmness. Try seating at the sushi bar during lunch for a casual feel with good window view.

Tokyo Towers is upstairs bec others are mistakenly go to ET sushi downstairs.Got our 50 % discount bec our friend works for Emirates Group. YEAH!

Hadn't been here in ages, so was delighted to go back. Had the Whatchamacallit roll and the Yellow fin tuna 'poke tacos'. Both were delicious and surprisingly filling. The Kirin Ichiban at AED 40 was overpriced, but the overall experience was good.

Hadn't been in awhile, and that's my fault.  The food was still great as was the service.  Wonderwall might be one of the best karaoke songs to do... everyone sings it.

LOVE= loss of valuable energy. That's what some of my dumped friends say. I don't really agree, its the closeness and understanding that you have that makes for a lasting relationship. I plan to have a good evening today and a romantic night to follow.

Tokyo at the Towers is absolutely a fitting name fro this place. Right from the polite reception to the food, everything was a model of good etiquette and service. The staff are friendly and polite, and you want to stay even though you can\t understand the orders they bark out in Japanese. A good place to be.
