Seriously, showed up at 8:30, thinking it's early, but still wasn't able to find a place at the bar or anywhere else. However, I love this place and I have to bring every visitor down here. I took a friend last night to this branch and he mentioned that this one by far has a better vibe that the other 2 he's been to in UK and Tokyo. Great place, wonderful music, cool people, always a nice place to visit. Tiki Puka Puka is always a must here, but if you go above 3, you'll have to back the next day to pick your car from the parking, like me.

Their signature drink: Tiki Puka Puka is highly recommended. One of the best cocktail to have.

This is usually a packed out bar with a good vibe. Go for the scorpion bowls! Huge bowls of alcoholic punch.

I agree, who doesn't like the Tikki Puka Puka! I really like coming here after work for some drink and snacks, their cheese balls are addicting. They have a mixed platter for starter that has 4 or 5 things on it that is always good, I usually just fill up with that. If you are in a big group try ordering the rum keg, it is always fun. Also on certain nights they have a live salsa band that plays that is really good, great atmosphere.

One drink you must try, the puka-puka! It's like 5 shots of different kinds of liqueurs with some frutiy juice to make it a nice island drink. The food is good, go for the prawns, I think they are called the Singapore prawns or something. They have a great selection of different types of island drinks and they have a live salsa band which plays in the evening. If you are a guy, you need to wear black shoes or dress shoes. No tennis shoes are allowed! The bar is extremely busy, so, try to get a table if you want to receive any service. The location is way better than the one at Crowne Plaza, so, go to this location instead!

Have been to this place once for salsa.. I cant remember what night they had it, but it wasn't as busy as another user commented, but then again i was dancing in non dancy areas. Which is a plus for me, as I don't fancy getting elbowed or stepped on during busy nights. LOVE the live band though, and the miniscule dance floor near there gets super crowded too.... I like the no pressure ambience, waitresses are super nice and I liked how i didnt have to worry about where to place my drinks while dancing as they were so accommodating. Havent had the chance to try the food, but maybe another time. Drinks wasnt too shabby either, affordable prices IMO.

my best friend she's just obsessed with this place.... and i don't really get it. She always tries to drag me out for salsa nights if im in town. Just to b honest, couse im not really a fan of this place ill start from the +++ pluses: -tasty food!!!! -great, big, tasty, drinks -nice music -nice outside view. minuses: -this place gets crazy busy on salsa nights -u can't breath r even get to the toilet-so crowded -ppl try to dance but its impossible to dance salsa on such a tiny dance floor -so, so, so many kinky, drewling guys just trying to pick up a girl( no manners) -its impossible to get a drink bc bar is so busy -no place to sit down Not my kind of night out but ppl tend to like this place. So if U r single and u like to mingle and dance salsa go for it!!!

came here for early happy hour with friends. the view is great if youre outside, but that was about it on the happy hour. not a large beer selection, and they don't serve alcohol from 3-6 p.m. basically, we each had one drink and had to relocate to another bar in the vicinity because of the time.

Fantastic fantastic and by far the best out of the three Trader's in Dubai. The food is amazing and if you are going for drinks during the happy hour, its well worth it! Always a great lively atmosphere here and always had a great night! The cheese balls are so moreish and the pina colada cocktail is served in their signature coconut shaped cocktail glass, love it!

Although the name of this place sounded weird to me, as it would more likely suggest a place of trade rather than a restaurant, I did go along with a couple of friends on their insistence. True it was nothing like I expected. The bar is good and they have a good choice of both Arabian and contintental food.

Trader Vic's is now here for some time and has a good picture of Arabian and international taste. While i would regard it as nothing more than what is required, this place is nevertheless functional. Come here what what you want to eat and drink and you will be satisfied.
