Thank you for joining YaDig. It is my sincere hope that our site makes life a little
easier for you.
The truth is ,I created YaDig purely out of frustration. Going to the same old places
and eating the same old food had become predictable and boring. I wanted a reliable
source of information on establishments, both at home and abroad, that I could trust.
I was also bugged and disappointed by reading sugar-coated reviews in articles and
magazines on places only to be let-down when I got there.
Surely there was a website that comprised all of these things? Real and honest reviews,
no matter how good or bad the experience was? And surely this same website would
allow me to share my opinions with my friends and community, so that other people
could benefit from my experiences? It seemed not.
I wasn’t in the bath, but that’s when I experienced one of those “Eureka!” moments
and the idea of YaDig took root in my mind. It became my mission to bring all the
things I was looking for under one roof, to create a common resource by everyone,
for the benefit of everyone. An online community sharing its experiences, good and
bad, on all the places they have visited.
We’ve worked hard to bring YaDig to where it is today, but of course it is only
ever as good as the reviews that are posted on it. We rely on people like you to
keep toasting or trashing the bars, restaurants, hotels, shops - any place you visit
- and benefit others with your experience.
It is our aim to make YaDig everyone’s first port of call whenever they’re looking
for a place to eat, drink, party, shop or relax.
