  1. This place is ok....if you are in the area and want asian with a very nice setting..this is the place. I had jumbo prawns that we're very expensive and only like 2 prawns..I had to eat again in an hour and they were cold but granted we were a big group and they brought it all out together (prawns get cooked faster than most other stuff) The wine selection is good here and the setting is really nice. Besides that it's not really that great of food..

  2. I have worked for several companies that use these guys for our company shirts. The quality is pretty good for the region we're in. The guy Prem is not a good businessman, not fun to deal with but besides that they do a corporate rate that's good..the turn around times are great. Don't try and ask for samples, just pay or you will get lower quality so they can save a penny or two. Either way this is the place to go if you need quality shirts for cheap and fast.

  3. I've been here once for dinner and once for drinks and I can tell you two experiences in one place couldn't be more different...in a good way. Dining here is not the same as just coming for drinks. This is a full on bar when it wants to be with a crowd and music etc and the restaurant is one of the best in Dubai. The staff is so good here that when my drunk friend smashed his wine glass by slamming it down on the table after chugging (not a friend ok, just an acquaintance) they didn't even miss a beat...they came and cleaned it up without embarrassing him (even though they should have). I had a steak and my girl ordered a pizza, both very differing ends of the italian food spectrum but both perfect.... I always recommend Frankie's to people who want a clutch nice night out..go for the food...stay for drinks after..

  4. I did a boat dining experience with my GF a while back. Absolutely amazing setting, staff, food and overall experience. We did the all inclusive with drinks special and it's a bit pricey but for the money you're getting an event...not just dinner. You can easily spend that much on a brunch or a nice meal and just be in a restaurant. Here you are actually doing something different and there's socializing outside on the deck, there's music inside....really cool. The music wasn't very good actually, some spanish guitarist that wasn't very talented, but i'm sure they've changed it by now. Go for the experience, come back for the food.

  5. This place is kinda outta the way, you need to want to go there for the lunch deals. You actually have to walk through Oscar's Vine Society to get there. The sushi was really good though, although not super filling. We asked the chef for a custom roll, his favorite and he made us a badass dragon something something....it had everything in it and the textures were amazing. Totally empty when I was there, they should do a Saturday deal it'd bring more people in. Go on a work day for lunch and it's 109 for all you can eat sushi, sashimi and miso. Sweet deal.

  6. This place is usually slam packed on the weekends, especially later at night you'll see lots of Emiratis and Saudis here chilling, smoking shisha and eating random mixes of things like tom yum soup and french fries or Chicken Shawarma and green curry. Huge menu, great location and really good staff. The shisha dude mohammed is one of the most attentive shisha dudes I've ever seen in Dubai.

  7. This is way better than going to the At the Top (unless you've got kids with you)..skip the touristy stuff and visit the 60 something floor of the address (which is still one of the tallest buildings on earth like numer 40 or something) and for the money you can get a few drinks in too. It's really classy, modern and elegant....no sandals allowed...wear nice stuff. Come early for a good table with a view but I don't think you need to make a booking.

  8. The best economical steak in Dubai. And possibly the best burgers. No joke, this is a true secret. The original burger is 200grams of medium rare holiness and it's only 35AED. I get the sauce on the site otherwise they smother it a bit too much...but seriously if you dip it in their mushroom sauce right before you take a juicy bite...you wonder how johnny rockets or burger fuel even stay in business at 50AED...this comes with fries and it's a real steak burger...ground meat the way nature intended lol. For those of you like my Emirati friends, they do a double burger...which is exactly as the name implies 400 grams of beef...and only 65....hugungous and tasty...I've done it and lived to review it. Go to this place, it's right above the ice rink...you'll be glad you did....this photo is a 90 AED FILLET! Very good.

  9. I wanted to savor the last little bit of nice weather we are getting these nights with one of Dubai's chillest outdoor cityscape views. Calabar is a very laid back, yet sophisticated lounge...with some of the best mojitos in Dubai...except for LeftBank it's my fav as...no sugar ever.. If you go on a weekday it's pretty easy to just rock up and get a few bean bag chairs..and nice little spot with a view of the burj/fountain. Boccelli comes on and you sing along...or maybe Whitney. They do some finger foods but they're overprice on purpose probably to keep too many people from ordering as it's not their bread and butter.. Go here for a chill spot when you're in the area...also make a trip up to Neo's in the same night especially if you have visitors with you.

  10. I've eaten here a few times. Consitently tasty, cheap and fast...and the quality of the meat is pretty darn good for the price too. I usually just get curry to go. Under 20 AED and keeps you filled up. Can't be beaten!
