Jesco Supermarket is a food retail arm of Al Maya Lal’s. It operates 24hours. Small little gem that has all my favorite hard to find Filipino items like Puto Seko, Butong Pakwan, Yema, Pastillas, Choco-biscuits, Mr. Chips and Chippy. They also have fresh vegetables that will be awesome for cooking and frozen food. I usually buy my snacks here. And what I love here, they always have promotions wherein sometimes I could only buy AED1/- per item. I can save more!

Giordano is an international fashion brand, offering high-quality retail fashion garments for ladies, gents and kids for a mid-range price. I love to buy Polo shirts here, and some of my Giordano shirts, I have been using regularly for two years and the quality is still good seams are overcastted.

Orange Supermarket is next to Khalid Bin Al Waleed metro station. It is a cute little store for all the goodies you may need and want. It’s a total sari-sari store (a shop with lots of different and random items) transported to the Middle East. But some items is a little bit overpriced.

Yo! Sushi is an excellent authentic Japanese dishes, great staff, not to mention their food is rotating in front of you. One of the best and unique Japanese restaurants I have been. Who wouldn’t enjoy just picking anything you want to eat at any time? Everything we picked tasted delicious even simple dishes like teriyaki and maki rolls. Yo! Sushi is for those who like “food on the go”. Go try it and you’ll be coming back for more though they serve it in a very small portion.

They have affordable and highly-discounted items. Tavolino Café & Restaurant is located in Baniyas Tower in Al Nasser Square, Deira just opposite side of Baniyas Square metro station. They are serving the best and huge shawarma in Dubai; Chicken Shawarma for only AED6/-, Mutton Shawarma or Mixed Shawarma for only AED7/-, Ice cream cone for only AED2/- and they also serve coffee, tea, cakes and other pastries and also shisha. You can dine indoor or outdoor.

I had been having a crazy craving for sweet corn (hey, it had more than a week), so I made my way to buy at Popeye’s last Tuesday, for their 99% juicy Sweet Corn. I had two orders. The sweet corn here is awesome!

This Portuguese restaurant once you have tasted their chicken I’m sure you will never forget it and you will be coming back for more. Nando’s is great for chicken lovers; their chicken burger was also very good and my family actually enjoys Nando's chicken especially my wife she is really addicted to it. I've tried their chicken trice and it is consistently yummy.
