Ponnuswamy.... very weird name to hear. Well whenever we have friends and we tell them , comeon let us go to Ponnuswamy, they are left with Dumb Expressions. Well it is Nice place...will not say the Best. But good Chetinadu place. You get all south India stuff here, say Idlis , Dosas, Appams with amazing curries. I like country chicken best over here..it has some Tamil name, but I can't recollect,but translation means...country chicken. This country chicken curry goes amazing with Appams. In this restaurant they give Many side dishes in small bowls for free...as 2 to 3 chutneys, sambhar and so on. it is nice budgeted place for good spicy food.

Bombay Sweets... A perfect place to Delicious Snacks. This place is perfect for festivals, as they have all kinds of Fresh Indian and Pakistani Sweets. Anjeer Barfi, Mango Malai, Black currant...all kinds of sweets. You will be surprised to know it has all....right from Farsans (dried snacks) like chaklis, chivdas, Khakras.... You name it they have it. They have Mukhwasas ( Mouth freshners in bottle) , Pav, and literally all dried fried quick snacks. Well that is not all.... the above yummy things are just a teaser. You can hog here on Paani puris, Dhabeelis, Bhel, Mixed chat, Vada Pav, Bread Bhajiyas, Grilled sandwiches.... Baraf ka gola, Juices....you name it ...they have it. We are regular visitors out here...we go on ordering plate after plate...be it chat or samosas or anything...Because over here everything is Yummy. It is very affordable and you will surprised that things can be so moiuthwatering at such awesome prices. you even get Paneer , shrikhand and Fresh Khoya for making sweets or adding it to vegetables... I am aware of Bombay sweets since my Muscat days...They have branch in Muscat which is quiet old. Now it has oepned in Dubai around an year back. It is next to Nawras Hotel appartments in ghusias. well....I can go on and on for this place...it has variety...and all is tasty. Guaranteed you will not Be dissappointed.

Sandesh a hidden gem at Ghusais, Lulu village. We have been regular visitors out there since 5 years. Perfect place for people who love old bollywood songs to go along with their yummy meal. We have taken each and every guest of ours to this restaurant because food is awesome and more awesome is Music...it makes you nostalgic. Old songs of 1940's...1950'S ...Rajesh Khanna, Rajendar kumar, hema malini, shammi kapoor.. My uncle loved this place...for him it was amazing to hear such old songs, Now food is absolute tongue tickling...Right from Basic idlis to amazing chinese to Chaats, to juices... to sandwiches....Pizzas and Indian sweets.... I can go on and on about sandesh food. Just had dinner out there....pizza, chaat , pavbhaji and combo chinese rice ...enjoyed all. we ended with amazing Mango cream, falooda and Cocktail juice. You get Naan, bhaji, and pulao. Inshort I will like to summarize... Must visit... for awesome songs and yummy food. You all are gonna fall in love with this place for food .

Well reputed fast food cafe / restaurant in the States is now well spread in many places in Dubai . It is gaining popularity here as well , not only with the Americans in Dubai but also the locals and other nationalities . I have been to Tim Hortons in Deira City Centre quite a few times and I highly recommend this joint to fast food lovers !! From donuts that satisfy the taste buds to the coffee that is perfect to destress a person , Tim Hortons has it all !! Name it and they have it and the prices are mid range :) The Turkey sandwich , Chicken chipotle wrap and Bbq chicken wrap is appreciated by many .Also , soup lovers must try the soup pf the day that Tim Hortons offers !! My all time favourite has been the Tim Bits , that is priced only Dhs 9 . It consists of various kinds of donuts , all to tickle your taste buds , small donuts that goes very well with a hot chocolate or coffee . Tim Hortons offers great food at great prices . The staff believes in Service with a smile , and they ensure that we leave with a smile and with pleasant memories !! We don't tend to look at the bill , its always so reasonable , never pinches the pocket !! Don't miss out on this one !! Perfect place to meet and eat ! Perfect place to hang out :D
