I just spent two lovely days at the Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman far from the maddening crowd. The three hour drive away is worth it. Zighy Bay is heaven. Fantastic service from the staff. A perfect getaway from everything from the city. The place will let you forget the hustle & bustle of the modern world.The place is wonderful and eco-conscious in a little sort of lagoon behind huge mountains and right by the sea. Magical.

TIP: find a parking Space on the Dubai side and just cross the street just to save more time looking for one. It's actually not that busy and definitely the one stop shop for all needs. Movies, home center, coffee, kids store and play area and a wide range in the food court.

This place will always be a blockbuster. Whether it's night or day. Why? This is the only place where I had an iced latte & the right way an iced latte should look, with layers of milk, illy coffee, and perfect foam. It's also nice to have breakfast here.

If you want Asian food and yes Asian food. Try the red curry (ask to make it spicy) - it's make you have a fever instantly. I love their Chiken with lemongrass as well.

The DooDoo & Tiramisu shots are specialties of the house. Indeed the best Happy Hour place to be, great drinks and even better crowed.

Not only with great food and orgasmic menu. The Mexican Beer and during the daytimeit's a nice place to chill out. Bardot keeps the groove. They have themed nights each week depending on their mood swings. madonna nights, disney nights, electronic nights, disco nights.

Recommended by a friend, we tried this humble restaurant just after the Al Jahili Fort. We prefer to eat sitting cross- legged on the floor. The restaurant has partitions for men and for women & for families. We ordered our usual favorites – chicken and lamb mandi rice & grilled fish. The fish portion was so huge and thus when I tasted it. I concluded that is the BEST grilled fish that I've ever tasted. It's well marinated and some sort of spice and herbs. Surprisingly it's so cheap too. Al Ain maybe 2 hours away but I can't wait to try sometime again soon, yummy grill fish!

I had a bad experience with this hotel. No hot water and no internet connection. My friend hosted a birthday party here but it was not well organized and the worst part was no one was ready to help us not even the reception desk.
