Love this place. Prices are more than reasonable and you even get a view of the Burj al-Arab. Food is good. Suggestions: Get a fresh fruit shake or chai masala.

Location is ideal for couples or groups of friends. Very chilled vibe. Not a party spot, but more of the perfect lounge. Make sure to jump on a golf cart if you are coming from the lobby. Reservations are suggested if you want a table outside.

Great spot on Wednesdays for Latin night. So glad the main room is smoke-free. It gets busy on Wednesdays at midnight. So, get there a little earlier to claim your territory on the dance floor.

Great view. Very chilled out spot. Drinks are a little pricey, but the atmosphere makes up for that.

Racist club. My African friend was turned away twice for reasons such as: "no jeans allowed" and "you should have come here between 7 and 9pm". Seriously? Who the hell goes to a club at 7pm?!!? Strangely enough, the main guy at the door (Mr. Vanilla Ice Wannabe / blondie) let other guys wearing jeans and t-shirts in. More than three times I witnessed how quickly he would turn other minorities away and only let Caucasians in. RACIST. This club is not only overrated, it's pretentious and clearly discriminates according to ethnicity and age. Management should change the way they treat their clientele. I've never seen and experienced a club that was more racist than Mahiki Dubai, and I've been to many major clubs in other large cities across the world. Mahiki = Very, very disappointing. There are far better clubs in Dubai where you get proper treatment and great vibes (Kasbar at The One & Only; The Address Hotel).
