Yes Souk Al Bahar can be tourist but it is still a great place to come for the evening. I like it because after dinner you can bar hop from one venue to the next without having to leave. I like Bar Zar in the winter because siting outside is great in those bean bags, Jam Base is fun for dancing and so is the Roof Top, Belgian Beer Cafe is always good for a pint, and Left Bank is Good fro a mellow lounge vibe.

Restaurant wise in Souk Al Bahar I would go with Tradervick, Belgian Beer Cafe, or Honyaki for Japanese but Honyaki can be hit or miss.

I don't ever come on the weekend because it is crazy packed and parking is never available so I stick to the weekdays where it is not bad and manageable.

I have not been to More Cafe in awhile but overall pretty good. I tried the meat loaf sandwich and it was ok, not great but maybe worth a try. I am a meat loaf lover and I like my meat loaf a certain way so maybe I was just being a little picky. Overall though I am a More Cafe fan. Service is always good and they always have a fun busy lunch crowd.

I mean this place is awesome! Why have I never been to Kim Chikin in JLT before? I did not know really what to expect for a fast food type Korean restaurant so I ordered their lunch box (dosirak) with the stir fried beef and it was amazing. Plus this thing was huge, I'm a pretty bug dude and I could not finish it and for 39AED I though it was a great deal.

I also ordered to split with my buddy their signature chicken, get the spicy one, and it was delicious. Pretty simple decorated but everything was nice and so was the service. I always like when they recommend stuff if they feel it is your first time. I only have good things to say about Kim Chikin and am glad they deliver as well. Definitely one of the better Korean Restaurants in Dubai.

Nofara Cafe in JLT is pretty good and a nice little add to the area. I came in for lunch today and it was a lot nicer then I thought. Well decorated with a friendly atmosphere. They are supposedly a Arabic fusion cafe which is pretty much right. I had the hummour shawarma, sounds weird, but it was pretty good.

The only negative thing is, for a non smoker, is they have sectioned off a part of their restaurant for a shisha loung. That's ok and all but you can easily smell it in the restaurant....easily. I mean for the the shisha lover that's great, food and smoke, but for the non smoker not so good.

Overall though a good place and would come back until I cant handle the smoke and shisha smell anymore.

Cute little English style coffee shop located in Festival City mall. Overall really cozy, good atmosphere, good coffee, and fresh OJ. No free wifi but a good place to come for a coffee or between meetings.

I love Emirates Airlines. They really have the best planes, probably because they are all new, and their lounges are amazing. Honestly their lounges maybe over the top, their business class lounge in the the new terminal 3A us ridiculous. You literally get lost in it. The customer service us great and i love the fact that you van change your ticket and they inly charge you like 100aed. The reason I can not give them 5 stars, i probably should though, is their rewards sky mile program. You build up all these sky miles but then when you try to use them you never can, whats the point then. I mean every time I try to book a flight with sky miles or upgrade i always get shot down and they tell me it is not allowed for this flight..... It really #$%^&*es me off. I am probably going to loose my miles on the fact that I can't ever use them. They have to change this system and go back how they use to have it where you could actually use your miles. Anyways Ill still fly Emirates Airlines for now but i will say Etihad Airlines is picking up their game and their air mules is easier to use.

Ayyam Gallery is definitely one of the better art galleries in Dubai. It is not pretentious and most of the art work is somewhat reasonable. They range from 1,000USD to around 10,000USD so that is not bad for the the beging art collector. Also they really focus on young Arab artist which is pretty cool.

Last night I came to one of their Young Collection art auctions and it was packed. It was cool concept because they are focusing on selling art work to the young "go getter' so all the artwork was priced between 2,000USD and 10,000USD. I will say though some of the art work went much higher. Overall I did not buy anything but it was a fun evening just having some drinks and watching the auction.

American Hospital Dubai was great. After I sliced opened my hand I came here to the ER and they took care of me. It took me about 45 minutes to see a doctor which was not that bad and yes he was American.This place is so much better then most of the other hospitals in Dubai. Most of the other places treat you like a piece of meat and just want your money. At least when I came in they seemed somewhat interested in what was wrong with me instead of asking for money first like Mediclinic.

I also liked how they already scheduled me an appointment for a follow up so when I come back I do not have to wait. Overall a good experience and I will be coming back in the the future. I just wish they had a hospital like this on my side of town, Dubai Marina. Anyways thanks for the hook up.

Yeah I had such high hopes for Bikers Cafe but boy what a let down. I ordered the the signature ( I think that's what its called) breakfast and I have been never been more disappointed in my life, what a joke. It is supposed to come with eggs (your choice) beef bacon, hash browns, sausage, a biscuit with saw mill gravy, and grits. As a respectable southerner I was shocked and so excited to see they had biscuits and gravy and even grits on the menu...I was basically in heaven.

Let me tell you how they crushed me. When the waiter brought my order to my table I said this could not be mine since there was no biscuit, not saw mill gravy, and no grits....it looked like and English breakfast. The waiter swore to me this was my order but I refused. Then the manger came over and pointed out the gravy, and grits to me but he said he would bring me my biscuit since they forgot it...I never got the biscuit in the end. They gravy he pointed out was bbq, yes can you believe it, I am talking about bbq sauce out of a bottle...pathetic. The grits I do not even know what they were, the grits and the gravy came in this tiny little cup that was like 2 oz. The grits were sweet and had a more of an oatmeal taste...actually it could have been oatmeal.

This place has no idea about breakfast nor customer service. The weird part it is so busy! Dubai really needs to get a breakfast place up. So far the best breakfast in town I think is Sophie's on the palm, the french toast and big English breakfast is where it is at.
