I called Medcare Hospital to book an appointment with the Specialist Peadiatrician, Dr. S.M. Anees, for my toddler, only to be informed that the Peadiatrics wing is now a facility in its own right, based in Jumeirah.Double checking directions on the internet brought forward some other fascinating facts about the clinic. It turns out that an existing villa in Jumeirah had been completely refurbished into a charming “9000 sq.ft dedicated facility for peadiatric consultancy.”We parked outside the building to be greeted by a very elaborate, animated morale on the side wall that immediately drew a smile from my child. The reception area was compact but functional, and a little alcove designed for kids seemed to win them over, by the looks of happy kids running around and playing with the provided toys and craft materials. The staff was as efficient as in the old wing, and I was pleased to note that the pharmacy was just outside the main reception, hence easily accessible. For me, childcare has always been a matter of great concern. From the birth of my child in Dubai, to the present care she is receiving at Medcare Hospital and its clinics, I have only words of appreciation for the management. Their professional care has made parenting easier for us in terms of our child’s health and well-being.If you are new to Dubai and looking for a reliable facility to monitor your child’s health and development, the Medcare Peadiatrics Clinic is worth checking out, with my personal recommendation.
