  1. I think this is the only revolving restaurant in Dubai. We were here last weekend and the view was spectacular. Its quite dark inside which really makes the best of the views. They have an open buffer of international dishes. You have to book the table besides the window to get the great views. Only thing is that it's a little pricy but I guess you get what you pay for.

  2. This is my 2nd visit at Wild Ginger and I may say this place is a little gem of a joy to discover. They serve asian of chinese, thai and japanese. This little cafe has this urban feel. The menu has the tick box like the Noodle House. I had the special of the day - the sizzling beef hotplate and some beef dumplings and also Wild Ginger Fried Rice was fried rice with fried egg, seafood and chicken pieces. All in all, everything was nice and freshly made. The location was definitely a plus after a good shop around Iconic, away from the hussle and bussle of the mall.

  3. We tried to drag some Camaros. if you don't want to drive and still experience the fun, you can be a codriver (up to extra 2 persons) in a like F1 car for some laps. During summer the track opens at 4pm. Not only Drag Nights, they have karting, the driving experience, track days and they're all open to public. You can even bring your own car and give it a test run on the circuit.

  4. Heavenly Buns!!! But the kark that they service is too strong so stay with the caramel latte or ginger milk tea. Sad to say that service is just so bad. it seems like the waiters were not even listening to us. Always insist on fresh coffee buns because sometimes they serve not so fresh buns and it doesn't taste the same.

  5. What I love in Galeries Lafayette is how the food hall of Paris has made its way to Dubai and gave it's way for myself into a heaven of AED 25 /kilo of tomatoes and smelly cheeses that are impossible to pronounce names. There are also several high-end confectionary stands, selling dates, chocolates, and macarons as well. Ohh and they have shawarmas and you can dine to have a bite as well.

  6. I never realized that Ajman has best beaches in the Emirates and how close it is in Dubai. The World Cup Bar is a great place to watch football matches. They even have a diving center if you want to try out diving.

  7. I NEVER tried Filipino Food until last Saturday. My friend Malou has introduced me to an eye opening lunch here. Filipino food can be way more wholesome than I’d thought. There were tons of hearty vegetables in the food, from leafy shoots of kankong and the lumpia sariwa with peanut gravy. Not all Filipino food is smelly and far more minimalistic than what I’d thought they have this prominent Spanish flavours. I recommend to have some Chicken Adobo. If you drive from Spinneys towards Bur Juman, you will see Pizza Hut on your right. Take the right at Pizza Hut and drive down the road till you hit a T-junction. Take a right at the T-junction and drive down the right until you see Kabalen on your right. (It is right next to Urban Tadka).
