  1. I usually go to this place if I am heading to the JBR beach in a morning. You can park in the lot across the road and get breakfast from here before heading to the beach to max out the tan. The breakfast comes in at around 35-45 dees and it’s a great place for people watchin. It’s quite as well on the weekends so easy to find a seat because most of the JBR residents don’t get up till after 12 on a weekend.

  2. I have been to this place once before on the weekend and I was very happy with the experience. I think it had just opened then so it was rammed and overall great service. However...rocked in there last night at 10pm...Air conditioning was on FULL BLAST and the it was an ice box. Staff took a good 10 mins or more to even take our order and the place only had 15 people in. The food was stale when it came as if it had been sat on the counter for half the day....When I wanted to leave I had to wait another 10 mins to be even noticed and collect the bill....really disappointed on the standards of service.. I hope this is not a regular occurrence and just a one off

  3. I happened on this place by accident as I was meant to meet friends in Apres but it stank of cigarettes in there (more and more these days). This place is small and has a cosy, sexy vibe to it. Menu is on an ipad and its full of great drinks, cocktails and food. The crowd is relaxed and the staff are very smart and attentive and the music is not loud so its easy to chat freely with company. The cigar list is not bad also, ill go back again.

  4. Not a bad place at all. Sunday nights are crowded...good with friends, and they try hard to please here which is highly commendable. Just two things.. STOP IT with the guy walking around in the open neck shirt playing the saxophone, its been really over-done in Dubai and its cheesy beyond belief...secondly...calm down on letting in so many waxy faced 40+ aged men from DIFC in pin strip dinner jackets and "mom jeans" in...its spoiling the place a tad....especially when they limpet mine the bar and it takes 30 mins to get drinks in.

  6. This is a good place for a VERY EASY beer and food with friends. The food is heavy pub style just like you would get back home and they have a half decent selection of commercial beers and ales. The only thing that isnt in its favour is that not many girls wanna go there as its just full of red faced guys. SO if your single its not the best place to look for chicks...another thing...way to many smokers and football shirts (Torremolinos 1998... Wooo)

  8. A little bird at work keeps bringing me in doughnuts from Tim Horton's every morning and I am beginning to really like this place even if its by proxy (never having visited)... and getting fat at the same time... Certainly beats the pants off Starbucks and the same food choices that they have had for the last 500 years.

  9. There are times when a burger is a very essential part of staying fit and healthy, part of a well-balanced diet, of course accompanied by a big vat of coke and a shovel full of chips as recommended by UAE dietary scientists. So if you are looking to get your “fat on” try BOB’s Burgers in JBR, the swiss mushroom is great, atmosphere is retro 50’s kitsch (bit played out for burger joints these days), staff are friendly and attentive as well.
